Our community has experienced a sudden loss this week of a great lady. Supergirls's best friend, the beautiful little girl with the long blond hair in the pictures of when we went to the Santa Claus parade last month, lost her mother on Sunday. She died quickly and unexpectedly, leaving behind a husband and two small children. Because of our kids being best friends of course we have a friendship, albeit casual. Our hearts are broken for the family.

It's really hard to know what to write at a time like this.
